Overview
- Read a Skill Scroll (秘技書) to have Asuka learn the corresponding secret skill.
- Derivative skills can be learned by using specific skills.
- Skills are performed by spending spirit, which charges as turns elapse or you take damage.
- Spirit Bracelet (気力の腕輪) lets you perform skills outside of the 3 spirit dungeons.

What are Secret Skills?
- Skills are special abilities Asuka can learn by reading skill scrolls.
- Skills are performed by spending spirit, which charges as turns elapse or you take damage.
- Only 3 dungeons have this spirit mechanic.
- Kron Trial (クロンの試練), Soaring Bird's Challenge (鳥飛魔天の挑戦), Fight One Shot (ファイト一発)
- Equipping a Spirit Bracelet (気力の腕輪) lets you use skills in other dungeons.
- The Spirit Bracelet can be found on 17F of Kron Trial (クロンの試練) after clearing the dungeon once.
- One skill can be assigned to the special attack button by pressing the button in the skill menu.
- Projectiles and skills cannot be assigned to the special attack button at the same time.
Charging Spirit
- Spirit charges as turns elapse or you take damage.
- The spirit meter has 10 stages, and the meter will glow when it's completely filled.
- Some 10 cost skills require a fully charged (glowing) spirit meter to be used.
- Spirit charges faster the lower your HP is in Kron Trial (クロンの試練) and Fight One Shot (ファイト一発).
- The number of turns needed to charge 1 spirit meter stage is based on remaining HP.
- HP ≤ 5% takes 1 turn, HP between 5~10% takes 3 turns, HP between 75~100% takes 50 turns.
- It always takes 100 turns to reach full charge (glowing) after reaching stage 10.
- Spirit also charges when you receive damage.
- Damage equal to 10% of your max HP = 1 spirit meter stage.
- Entering a Monster House charges the spirit meter by 2 stages.
Learning Skills
- Skills are learned by reading skill scrolls. ([skill name]の秘技書).
- Skill scrolls are common in Kron Trial (クロンの試練) and Soaring Bird's Challenge (鳥飛魔天の挑戦).
- Spirit is not consumed when performing a skill as a result of reading a skill scroll.
- Skill scrolls can be bought and sold, and the selling price is always 1/2 of the buying price.
- Once learned, a skill can be used an unlimited number of times during the current adventure.
- Asuka will normally forget all skills after the current adventure ends.
- However, there's a small chance to master a skill when it's used, and mastered skills are not forgotten.
- The chance to master a skill is completely random.
- It may only take one use, or if you're unlucky, 100+ uses.
- Skills also have a chance to be mastered as a result of reading a skill scroll.
- Skills can be mastered even if the skill doesn't hit a target.
Derivative Skills
- Asuka has a chance to derive new skills as a result of using specific skills.
- Derivative skills generally cost more spirit, but have boosted damage, range, or effects.
- The chance to derive new skills is completely random, similar to mastering skills.
- Try to master derivative skills quickly so that you don't need to derive them again.
- Some derivative skills can be found as skill scrolls.
