Dungeon featuring lots of enemies with room-wide attacks - bring more Tiny Reviver Seeds than usual.
Room-wide attacks include Magnitude (Sandshrew, Graveler, Sandslash, Golem) and Earth Power (Magcargo).
Remember to bring plenty of apples, since the only food item that can be found is Grimy Food.
That said, Sparkling Tiles can have Big Apples, so it's not hopeless if you forget to bring apples.
Similar to Mt. Blaze, don't forget that enemies with Flame Body or Magma Armor burn up thrown items.
Lastly, don't forget to bring an Invitation in case you encounter a Mystery House.

There's a checkpoint during the first clear between 23F and 24F, and Groudon appears as a boss on 26F.
Groudon is far tougher than any of the previous bosses you've fought, so don't hesitate to use items.
Unlike the originals, orbs are effective during boss fights in Rescue Team DX.

Boss Strategy

First Clear

Groudon (1572 HP) - Roar / Precipice Blades / Hammer Arm / Lava Plume

• Groudon's ability sets the weather to Sunny, so Fire type attacks are boosted.
  • Water type attacks are technically super effective, but they deal less damage when it's Sunny.
• The boss might create distance with Roar and snipe the knocked back Pokemon with Precipice Blades.
  • Precipice Blades has a range of 4 tiles.

Rematch

Groudon (2187 HP) - Eruption / Precipice Blades / Hammer Arm / Earthquake

• Eruption (Fire type) and Earthquake (Ground type) are both room-wide attacks.
  • If your party's stats are still on the low side, don't forget to bring some All Protect Orbs.
  • Flygon is immune to Ground type attacks and resists Fire type attacks, making it a great attacker.

Primal Groudon (1942 HP) - Eruption / Precipice Blades / Hammer Arm / Earthquake

• The boss is now a dual-type (Ground / Fire) Pokemon.
  • Eruption hits a bit harder thanks to having a STAB (same type attack bonus) boost.
• Desolate Land (ability) makes it immune to Water type attacks, and prevents the weather from being changed.
  • Use a Nullify Orb if you want to use Water type attacks, Rain Dance, or a Rainy Orb.
