Identify Pot

Identifies inserted items. Cannot identify wet scrolls.
Identifying reveals the item's name, and number of uses if it's a staff.
Recommended to prioritize grass items for making a Healing Sword, or to boost strength.

Locations:

Degrade Pot

Degrades weapons, shields, and staves by -3 every time you advance to the next floor.
Gitan inside the pot will be reduced by 10~20% per floor.
No effect on other item categories, so it can be used as storage for onigiri,
Strength Grass, Mixer synthesis items, scrolls, etc.
Found in sizes 3~6.

Locations:

Storage Pot

Pot that lets you take items out after being inserted.
Protects onigiri from spoiling, and also prevents scrolls from getting wet.
It may seem simple, but expanding your inventory is fantastic for roguelikes like Shiren.
Found in sizes 4~6.

Locations:

Presto Pot

Transforms inserted items into other items.
Often used to recycle unneeded items or single arrows.
The pool of items that can be obtained varies by dungeon.
If used inside the storage in Napus Village, items will only transform into Weeds.
Found in sizes 3~5.

Locations:

Sticky Pot

Your hand gets stuck inside the pot if you try to insert items.
Your weapon will be unequipped, and you won't be able to pick up items.
Punch monsters (10%) or walls (2%) to break the pot and free your hand.
Your hand will remain stuck even if you advance to the next floor.
Your hand won't get stuck if the pot's remaining size is 1, or if your equipped weapon is cursed.
Can be thrown to temporarily trap a character inside the pot.
Found in sizes 3~5.

Locations:

Water Pot

Fill with water and pour it on the tile in front of you for various effects.
Can pour water around corners.
Identified the moment you select "Insert".
Found in sizes 3~6.

Effects:

• Destroy traps.
• Turn scrolls into wet scrolls.
• Turn onigiri into spoiled onigiri.
• Put out fires.
• Halves attack of monsters wielding weapons. (can stack)
  • Ashigarudon, Yamikichi, Shagga, Gale, Kengo, Taur families, Galaha.
• Apply seal status to Bomb type monsters.
  • Wolf Droid family, Pop Tank, Cranky Tank, Patient Bag.
• Remove the effect of scrolls stuck to the ground.
• Erase the writing on blank scrolls. (reuse Blank:Sanctuary)

Locations:

Grass Pot

Insert grass and everyone in the room including Shiren receives the effect of getting hit by that grass.
Inserting Otogiriso is a solid option when there are Ghost type monsters around,
but be careful not to self-destruct by inserting Dragon or Flame grass.
Found in sizes 3~6.

Locations:

Synthesis Pot

Insert items to fuse them together. The first item acts as the base.
Can only synthesize weapons with weapons, shields with shields, or staves with staves.
This is the only pot that can be found with an initial size of 2.
Found in sizes 2~4.

Locations:

Upgrade Pot

Increases upgrade value of equipment or uses of staves by 1 each time you advance floors.
Also increases the amount of inserted Gitan by a random amount between 10~20%.
Only found in shops inside Road to the End between floors 71~90F.
If you manage to obtain it, use Pot Expand and Suction scrolls on it instead of breaking it.
Found in sizes 3~6.

Locations:

Surprise Pot

Pot that contains items, monsters, or pent-up anger.
You won't know what's inside until you break it.
Pent-up anger has the same effect as a Big Landmine, so it's best to throw it at a wall from a distance.
The contents are set when the pot is generated, and won't change if you bring it into a different dungeon.
Always has a purchase / sale price of 3000 / 1500 Gitan, no matter what's inside.
Found in size 0 due to contents already being in it, however the number of contents ranges from 4~6.

Locations:

Memento Pot

Pot that appears after collapsing and losing equipment.
It contains the equipment you lost, but due to it being a memento,
synthesis seals will be lost and upgrade value will be decreased.
Once generated, the Memento Pot will only be available for 3 adventures,
so if you care about the equipment you lost, you should hurry to collect it.
Oracle Gran at the Shrine can tell you where the Memento Pot is currently located.

Locations:

Monster Pot

Throw it at a monster to capture it and turn it into an ally.
The pot will never miss when thrown, unless you have a Dragon Tile Bracelet equipped.
Cannot capture Shopkeepers, Traders, or Oni enemies.
Ally monsters will always use their special attack on the first turn they are sent out.
The pot vanishes if the ally monster is defeated, or if you advance floors without returning it to the pot.
If the pot is registered to Monster Kingdom, the monster will return there with 1/2 its growth,
but otherwise the monster is lost.
Always found in size 1.

Locations:

Savings Pot

Allows you to keep your Gitan if you collapse as long as this pot is in your inventory.
Takes up 3 item slots, so it's a heavy tradeoff, but perhaps it's good for beginners.
Never breaks, even when thrown at a wall.
Exclusively found on 1F of Shuten Trail Easy.

Locations:
