Difficult to make due to the rarity of Dragon Tile Bracelets.
Cannot be used as synthesis fodder.

	Mysterious shield shaped like a large snake. It's thought to belong to a foreign tribe, but the truth remains unknown.

Legendary shield exclusive to Shiren 2, and it's the 2nd strongest shield in the game.
Very high defense and slot count, which makes it excellent as a main shield.

	Final form of Fuuma Shield. Very high defense and slot count. Its recipe remains unknown to even the most famous smiths. Very few wanderers know of its existence.

Strongest shield in the game.
Obtained by inserting a Fuuma Shield+99 into a Presto Pot.
Recommended to synthesize Blank Scrolls with Mixer monsters to increase the number of slots.

Nirvana Shield

	Stops hunger while equipped. However, max fullness is set to 1% the moment you equip it, and won't return to normal even if the shield is unequipped.

Created by synthesizing 3 重 seals onto a Heavy Shield.
Shield that sets max fullness to 1% while also stopping hunger.
Hunger Puppets can lower your fullness, and Kengo can disarm your shield, so still be careful.

Ally Kengo will always fling a Leather Shield in dungeons where shields normally do not appear.

Dodge Shield

	Dodge projectiles aimed at you. You won't receive so much as a scratch from unwittingly stepping on an arrow trap. However, you can't dodge objects falling from above.

Shield that lets you dodge projectiles, making it very easy to collect arrows.
Cannonballs will still explode, and dodged objects can activate traps if you're standing on one.
The 返 seal takes priority if you also have that synthesized.

Shield that prevents your items from getting cursed by Straw Voodoll monsters.
Synthesizing a Purify Scroll with a Mixer monster provides the same effect.
This shield is never found cursed.

	Receive Gitan when you get hit. This shield hosts the spirit of a Froggo very fond of Gitan.

Obtain Gitan equal to 10% of the amount of damage received from enemy attacks.
It's quite rare, despite its lackluster ability.

Scale Shield

	Makes you immune to poison. This shield is made from special fish scales that repel poison.

Prevents poison arrows, poison grass, and Scorpion stings from lowering strength.
Note that it doesn't prevent loss of strength from Sluggy licks or Spoiled Onigiri.

Happy Shield

Image	In-game Description
	Receive experience points when you take damage from monsters. It brings a bit of joy, but be careful not to collapse from happiness.

Gain exp equal to 130% of the amount of damage you receive from attacks.
Good to equip early on, but you'll want to switch to a stronger shield as you progress.
Note that you won't gain exp from traps.

Walrus Shield

	Prevents monsters from stealing money and items.

Shield modeled after a Zalokleft.
Prevents item and Gitan theft by Zalokleft, Froggo, and Gyadon monsters.
It can't prevent Kengo monsters from disarming you, since disarming is not considered stealing.

	Reflects projectiles. However, you can't reflect objects falling from above.

Reflects projectiles, including cannonballs, porky stones, and monsters.
If a reflected cannonball hits a Shopkeeper, they will attack you instead of the monster.
Cannot reflect silver arrows or objects falling from above.

Shield that reflects 30% of damage received from physical attacks back at monsters.
Note that reflected damage can still cause Sluggy and Zalokleft monsters to divide.

Traproid Shield

You can still choose to manually trigger traps if you're standing on one.

	Starts with very high defense, but degrades after every hit. It's often discarded in the end.

Starts out with very high defense, but loses 1 upgrade value every time you take damage.
Fixed damage such as quarter staff will still lower its upgrade value, but traps,
