Postgame dungeon where all weapons and shields found on the ground are sacred items.
Silverpurge Scrolls and Synthesis Pots are common, but crowd-control items are rare.
The player is not allowed to take home any inventory items upon clearing the dungeon,
but they will receive 1 random gold sacred item as a reward instead.
Strategy
General
The main idea is to find high stat sacred items and synthesize them to merge runes.
Silverpurge Scroll and Synthesis Pot are common, so it's fine to insert ingredients into unidentified pots.
On the other hand, crowd-control items that help in Monster Houses or such are extremely rare.
Bracelets and staves don't appear on the ground, so you need higher stats to trade hits with monsters.
Prioritize runes that let you attack in additional directions, along with payback style runes.
Lastly, remember that you cannot take home any inventory items even if you clear the dungeon.
There's zero reason to save synthesis ingredients or rare equipment in this dungeon.
Update 1.1.0
This update added NPCs to the dungeon, including companion characters like Asuka.
Teaming up with these companion characters significantly reduces the difficulty.
Important Items
Equipment
Use sacred items with high base stats as your main equipment instead of choosing based on runes.
Aim for a minimum of 10 item strength, 15 is comfortable, and 20 pretty much ensures safety.
If your stats are too low, you'll struggle against Mid Chintala (3-10F) and other enemies from 5F.
Whopping Harisen + Zabuton has fantastic resonance, so it can be worth using despite lower stats.
Equipment is common, so there's a higher risk of equipping a cursed item if you check every item.
If you only want to check upgrade value, use a Synthesis Pot and synthesize the items instead,
since weapons or shields that synthesize successfully will automatically become identified.
Weapon Runes
Frontal Attack, Side Attack, Back Attack
Frontal Attack = Kama Itachi, Side Attack & Back Attack = Sacred Item.
One of the very few ways you can deal with crowds of enemies in this dungeon.
The ability to attack around corners also comes in handy.
Knockback
Knockback = Whopping Harisen.
Roughly 50% chance to deal 1 tile of knockback, which can also be used to one-shot Ghost Samurai.
Anti-Ghost, Flame Shot, Thunderbolt
Anti-Ghost = Sickle of Salvation, Flame Shot & Thunderbolt = Sacred Item.
Runes that help against Ghost Samurai, which spawns after Masked Samurai (5-10F) is defeated.
Anti-Beast, Anti-Cyclops, Swift Strikes, Critical At N
Anti-Beast = Primal Axe, Anti-Cyclops = Cyclops Bane, Swift Strikes = Swift Sword, Critical At N = Sacred Item.
Anti-Beast is nice for Mid Chintala and Tiger Thrower, Anti-Cyclops helps against Gazer and Metalhead.
Swift Strikes and Critical At N runes can increase damage output against any opponent.
Shield Runes
Delusion Payback, Onigiri Payback, Jitter Payback, Leap Payback, Shadow Payback
Onigiri = Onigiri Scroll, Jitter = Jitters Scroll, Leap = Leaping Grass, Delusion & Shadow = Sacred Item.
Runes that can be helpful if you happen to become surrounded by enemies.
Can be synthesized anytime if found on sacred items, but otherwise Mixers (8-9F) are your only chance.
Keen, Full Armor, Tough At N, HP +N
Keen = Watchful Shield, Full Armor = Hunky-dory Shield, Tough At N & HP +N = Sacred Item.
Runes that help with survivability against any opponent.
Other Items
Silverpurge Scroll, Synthesis Pot
Don't use these items without thinking, but instead plan out the runes you want to transfer.
Rotten Onigiri
Throw this at an enemy to inflict a bad status condition on them.
Possible status conditions include Weakened, Confused, Asleep, Blind, or Deluded.
Exorcism Scroll, Fixer Scroll, Onigiri Scroll, Plating Scroll
Scrolls that can be used to remove a cursed weapon or shield - Don't expect to find multiple copies.
Blank Scroll
It's probably best to save this for a potential Monster House.
Some like to write Sanctuary Scroll on it to make it easier to synthesize using Mixers (8-9F),
or to make it easier to level up on floors where Masked Samurai (5-10F) spawns.
Poison Arrow, Rock
Try to save rocks for Behemoth Monsters (10-13F), even if you find the Anti-Behemoth rune.
Normal attacks can miss, so relying on Anti-Behemoth instead of rocks introduces unneeded risk.
Traps
Silver-seal Trap
Can be used to better control which runes transfer when synthesizing weapons or shields.
Example: Picked up a Kama Itachi which has a Dulling rune on it.
1. Equip a spare weapon and step on the Silver-seal Trap until only 1 open slot remains.
2. Synthesize the Kama Itachi into the spare weapon, transferring only Frontal Attack.
3. Synthesize the spare weapon into your main weapon.
Floor Guide
1-2F
Enemies can be defeated without equipment, so check all rooms on these floors in search of equipment.
If you're worried about curses, only equip the best weapon and shield you found at the end of 2F.
3-4F
Pumphantasm (23 HP, 16 atk, 10 def) and Mid Chintala (45 HP, 23 atk, 10 def) are notable threats.
Despite being so early in the dungeon, it can be quite rough if you haven't found a decent shield.
Gazer (30 HP, 18 atk, 14 def) also appears on 4-5F - Use projectiles to avoid being hypnotized.
5-10F
Generally considered the most difficult floor range of this dungeon (10F can spawn a Behemoth Gate).
If you found a Blank Scroll, consider writing Sanctuary on it to safely level up + synthesize on 8-9F.
Be warned that attempting to synthesize via Mixers without a Sanctuary Scroll can easily end runs.
Notable threats:
Curse Girl (65 HP, 28 atk, 28 def) curses your equipped shield - 5~10F.
Masked Samurai (47 HP, 18 atk, 18 def) spawns a Ghost Samurai when defeated - 5~10F.
Bowboy (45 HP, 17 atk, 18 def) can be a problem if it appears alongside another monster - 7~10F.
Mixer (78 HP, 39 atk, 29 def) has very high attack power, especially after eating items - 8~9F.
11-13F
Behemoth Gates continue to have a chance of being generated on each of these floors.
Use items like Leaping Grass or Rocks to avoid becoming sandwiched by Behemoth Monsters.
Otherwise, normal monsters are mostly power types like Floor Dragon, Metalhead, and Tiger Thrower.
Lv1 Shagga appears instead of Lv2 Nashagga, which might be a mistake on the developer's part.
14-15F
Basically the same monsters as 11-13F, but with the addition of lowest rank monks and no Behemoths.
The more you linger, the greater chance a monster will level up due to Berserk status and such.
You can't take inventory items home anyway, so just rush to the stairs as fast as possible.
