Blue stairs which let you return to regular Serpentcoil Island floors early can be found starting on 3F.
Once unlocked, this dungeon can be entered anytime.

General Advice
The monster table of this dungeon differs significantly from Mount Jingara.
Ninjas don't appear, so you don't need to worry about Fire Ninjas burning items on the ground.
In addition, Froggos appear on all floors, making it a nice spot to visit when you want to earn Gitan.
Shops also have a high chance of being generated on each floor, so it's easy to stock up on items.
Don't worry if Scorpions lower your strength, since you can rest at the Inn in Small Harbor afterwards.
Cave Mamel Warning
However, there is one catch - The powerful Cave Mamel has a low chance to spawn between 2-6F.
This red Mamel only has 5 HP, but a massive 100 attack and 100 defense - You won't win in a fair fight.
But it's possible to one-shot it and gain 2,000 experience points by throwing a single Rock or Gitan bag.
It's mainly only a problem between 5-6F where hallways are dark, since there's risk of a surprise attack.
If you're adjacent, swing a Knockback Staff or Thunderbolt Staff since staves have 100% accuracy.
So overall, it's a rewarding place that teaches the value of hunting Cave Mamels to newcomers.
Important Items
Bracelets
Monster-find Bracelet (or Clairvoyant Bracelet)
Reveals the locations of monsters on the map, and lets you see incoming enemies in dark hallways.
Basically lets you avoid surprise attacks by Cave Mamel, and makes it easier to steal from shops.
Item-find Bracelet (or Clairvoyant Bracelet)
Reveals the locations of items on the map, giving you an idea of the floor's layout.
You'll be able to spot shops and Monster Houses at a glance while this is equipped.
Scrolls
Mapping Scroll
Reveals the locations of monsters and items on the map, similar to Clairvoyant Bracelet.
Another option to avoid surprise attacks by Cave Mamels - read these scrolls on 5-6F.
Miscellaneous
Rock, Knockback Staff, Revival Grass
Items that either one-shot Cave Mamel, or generally increase your chances of survival.
Don't forget that rescues are not allowed in hidden routes.
Floor Guide
1-6F
As mentioned earlier, dungeon shops have a higher chance of being generated here.
1-4F are generally safe to explore, but 5-6F have dark hallways which can cause accidents.
Froggo (1-6F) can be hunted to obtain Gitan for shops that appear throughout this dungeon.
Armordillo (1-3F)'s special attack makes you trip and drop items, which can cause pots to break.
Scorpion (1-6F) lowers strength by 1, but you can use the Inn at Small Harbor after this path to restore it.
Cave Mamel (2-6F) can be dangerous if you don't have rocks or other sources of fixed-damage,
but otherwise basically serves as a free 2,000 experience points per spawn whenever it shows up.
That said, use staves instead of rocks if Cave Mamel is adjacent, since you don't want to risk missing.
It's best to rush to the stairs on 5-6F if you don't have a Monster-find Bracelet or Mapping Scroll,
since Cave Mamel can potentially one-shot you with a surprise attack in a dark hallway.
If you don't want to risk it, take the blue stairs back to Serpentcoil Island before 5F.
It's easy to forget, but you cannot request a rescue in any of the hidden routes.
